The Roy Ross Memorial Race is the most prestigious IMCA Special Modified race in Western Canada. The 2 things IMCA drivers want to win is the Roy Ross Memorial Race & the IMCA Championship. Like the Stanley Cup everyone wants their name on the Roy Ross Memorial Trophy. The Edmonton International Raceway Roy Ross Memorial is a Double Header this year. The Silverstar Challenge is the third and final leg of 3, 47 lap IMCA races, the total day point winner will receive a “Prize Fighter” type of belt, sponsored by Silverstar Oilfield Transportation. Double Header last race of the night: The 26th running of the Annugas Roy Ross Memorial Race, the driver with the most total day points from 2 of the 3 Challenge races will take the poll starting position followed by the rest of the field based on their points. This is the first time that the Roy Ross will start the fastest cars at the front, proving to be an exciting race to the finish. It always worth the drive to EIR to see exciting oval racing!
