Ice Race School delayed, 2020 Summer Castrol dates and ASN Canada FIA situation
NASCC Ice Racing
The NASCC Board of Directors wishes you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We have some important information to share with you. The first being a two-week delay in our Winter Driving and Ice Race School and the subsequent delay of our 2020 Ice Racing season. With our exceeding mild winter the Ice depth is not what it should be for this time of year to safely conduct any activates on our lake. The snow level is also not enough to safely build banks so we have had to make the unfortunate decision to delay everything by two weeks and hope the weather cooperates. For those who have registered for the Winter Driving and Ice Race School as a student of instructor a separate email will come out.
NASCC Road Racing
We have finalized our 2020 summer Castrol dates and they are shown below. We are still working on our format for the season and what it will look like, but we are strongly considering having 3 endurance race events. Also our normal 2 day Spring school may be cut back to a single track day and supplemented with TestnTune sessions for endurance and sprint racers.

May 23rd – 24th May 23rd 1 day License School & TestnTune. May 24th – 7 Hour Endurance Race
June 20th – 21st Sprint Race Weekend
July 4th LA1K Endurance Race – 11 hour
July 25th – 26th Sprint Race Weekend
August 22nd – 23rd Speedway Park Revival – Sprint Race Weekend
September 19th – 20th Split Sprint Race and Endurance Race Weekend
The NASCC board of Directors is also following closely the developments due to the resignation from FIA of ASN Canada. We are considering all options and will pass on to all our club members information and decisions that are in relation to this situation.
