Kyle Larson won the Exciting Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series 35th Annual Monster Energy NASCAR All-Star Race

This was one of the most exciting NASCAR All-Star Races with 4 cars wide fitting for position, contact during & after the race. Starting from 18th Place Car 42 Kyle Larson Advent Health Chevrolet won the 35th Annual Monster Energy NASCAR All-Star Race, his 1st win in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series non-points event. Larson becomes the second driver all-time to win the Monster Energy Open and go on to win the Monster Energy All-Star Race on the same weekend joining Ryan Newman (2002). This is Chip Ganassi Racing’s second Monster Energy All-Star Race win – the first was with driver Jamie McMurray (2014). 2nd PLace Car 4 Kevin Harvick Busch Beer Millenial Car Ford, started from 3rd place posted his 6th Top 5 finish in 19 All-Star races at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It is his 12th Top 10 finish in the event. 3rd Place Car 18 Kyle Busch M&M’s Hazelnut Toyota, started from 2nd place posted his 5th Top 5 finish in 14 All-Star races at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

4th Place Car 22 Joey Logano Shell Pennzoil Ford, started from 10th place followed by 5th place Car 43 Bubba Wallace World Wide Technology Chevrolet, started from 17th place. 6th Place Car 10 Aric Almirola Smithfield Ford, started from 13th place followed by 7th place Car 3 Austin Dillon Dow Chevrolet, started from 4th place. 8th Place Car 88 Alex Bowman Axalta Chevrolet, started from 19th place followed by 9th place Car 24 William Byron Hendrick Autoguard Chevrolet, started from 16th place. Lastly in the Top 10 was Car 19 Martin Truex Jr. Bass Pro Shops/TRACKER /USO Toyota, in 10th place, started from 5th place. The added action after the race was when Car 6 Ryan Newman Acorns Ford decided to shove Car 14 Clint Bowyer Toco Warranty Ford into the wall. Clint Bowyer got out of his car & ran up to Ryan Newman to punch him on the chin due to that is what he deserved.
