TO HOST FIRST LEG OF THE
UNSUNG HEROS FUNDRAISING RIDE THIS SATURDAY
PROVINCE WIDE MOTORCYCLE RIDE TO SUPPORT VETERANS AND FIRST RESPONDERS – THE UNSUNG HEROS FUNDRAISING RIDE FOR PTSD
STARTS HERE IN WETASKIWIN
Wetaskiwin, Alberta, 25 June 2022 8:00 a.m. – This Saturday, the Edmonton International Raceway has the privilege to be the starting point for the “UNSUNG HEROS FUNDRAISING RIDE” here in Wetaskiwin. This event is a great ride for any motorcycling enthusiast and a terrific way to give back with continuing support with PTSD in Veterans and First Responders. In addition, this is an awareness and fundraising ride in support of the Hoggins Veterans Ranch and the Calgary Veterans Foodbank.
The Ride itself will begin at Edmonton International Raceway in Wetaskiwin at 8:00 a.m. staging time, breakfast sponsored by Dyck Insurance Agency in Wetaskiwin and then kickstands will be up by 10:00 a.m. The group will ride to Calgary with a small stop in Red Deer. Once in Calgary, around 3:30 p.m. they will enjoy the evening at Ranchman’s Cookhouse and Dancehall Inc. and performances by Julian Austin and Craig Moritz. This ride might be scheduled to be reversed for the year 2023. Which means their final destination will be Edmonton International Raceway in Wetaskiwin.
EIR in Wetaskiwin is also hosting a Race Event at 6 pm, Saturday, June 25th & inviting all First Responders & Health Care Workers & their Families to be our Guests at EIR’s Saturday Night Race Event.
Edmonton International Raceway is located just off Highway 2A in Wetaskiwin, 4 Kms West of the Highway 13 & Hwy 2A Junction in Wetaskiwin. Exact address is 244074A Township Road 464.
