Martin Truex Jr. won the race with the Margin of Victory: 2.284 Seconds which is great since he came back from a restart penalty. Even though they didn’t need the win to get into the next round of playoffs the Car 78 team had a team member (Jim Watson) have a heart attack & pass away the day before. This seems to be the year of Martin Truex Jr., I do not think anyone can stop him from winning the Championship.

Car 1 Jamie McMurray Cessna Chevrolet
Car 17 Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Fastenal Ford
Car 20 Matt Kenseth DeWalt Flexvolt Toyota
Car 42 Kyle Larson Credit One Bank Chevrolet

The biggest surprise of eliminations is Kyle Larson who was my 1 to win the Championship.

Tenacity of Car 48 Jimmie Johnson Lowe’s Chevrolet
Jimmie Johnson was having a bad day as he spun twice & some how at speed missed the Big Crash on the 9th Caution. Car 48 was able to get a 11th place finish & stay in the playoffs for the next round.
