This was an emotional win Jason Hathaway who took the lead on lap 49 and was able to hold leaf until the checkered flag. Jason Hathaway 394 points is now tied Andrew Ranger with 394 points for 2nd place in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Championship. Points leader Scott Steckly has a 9 point lead with 403 points. The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series championship will come down to the last race September 19 in the Pinty’s 200 at Kawartha Speedway. Kawartha Speedway is a .375 Mile Semi-banked oval in Fraserville, ON. Being oval specialists, the odds on favorites would have to be Scott Steckly with 2 Kawartha Speedway wins & Jason Hathaway with 1 Kawartha Speedway win.
