Jason Hathaway 394 points is now tied Andrew Ranger with 394 points for 2nd place in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Championship. Points leader Scott Steckly has a 9 point lead with 403 points. The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series championship will come down to the last race September 19 in the Pinty’s 200 at Kawartha Speedway. Kawartha Speedway is a .375 Mile Semi-banked oval in Fraserville, ON. Being oval specialists, the odds on favorites would have to be Scott Steckly with 2 Kawartha Speedway wins & Jason Hathaway with 1 Kawartha Speedway win. In racing nothing is for sure, as Andrew Ranger & L.P. Dumoulin could be the spoilers for Scott Steckly & Jason Hathaway.
