Denny Hamlin won the crash-fest Sprint Unlimited race at Daytona International Speedway

Starting from 15th place Car 11 Denny Hamlin FedEx Express Toyota Denny Hamlin won the Sprint Unlimited at Daytona International Speedway. This is his 3rd Sprint Unlimited win (2006, 2014 and 2016). Hamlin becomes the 5th driver in series history to win 3 or more Sprint Unlimited races joining Dale Earnhardt, Dale Jarrett, Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart. This win gives Joe Gibbs Racing its
4th Sprint Unlimited victory in the last five years. 2nd Place Car 22 Joey Logano Shell Pennzoil Ford, started from 25th place. 3rd Place Car 27 Paul Menard Peak Antifreeze/Menard Chevrolet, started from 14th place.
