NASCC Statement:
It is with great regret that NASCC announces that the Lac la Biche Ice Races scheduled for March 1 & 2, 2025 have been cancelled.
Ken Staples and the whole Lac la Biche Ice Festival Committee tried their best to save the event, but the unexpected warming trend has made it impossible to develop an ice race track.
PLEASE CANCEL YOUR HOTEL ROOMS ASAP to avoid charges!!!
My apologies for sending this to anyone not involved with ice racing but we had to get the word out quickly.
Thank you to everyone for a great (but short) ice race season!
