NASCC has a long history in Motorsports and is the premiere racing club for Road & Ice Racing in Northern Alberta. NASCC is making exciting changes in 2025 and will offer Sprint, Endurance, and Time Attack championship races all on the same weekend, the first events of their kind in Western Canada! The events will run as part of the WCMA championship, at Rad Torque Raceway in 2025. We are pleased to work with our friends at ARCA in offering an Alberta-based championship in Sprint and Endurance – competitors wishing to pursue the WCMA Alberta championship will need to participate in both NASCC and ARCA events.
If you ever wanted to go road racing here is your chance. NASCC has a race school to teach drivers to improve driving skills & to learn the basics needed to get a race license. The great thing about this racing is there is there are multiple classes you can run a car in. This is one of the best race schools that uses racers as instructors that are there to get new racers in the sport of Road Racing. Rivercity Motors Advanced Driving and Race Licensing School, Hosted by NASCC – Saturday May 10th, 2025, Spots are filling up fast!

Motorsport Volunteers
Get involved in motorsports: volunteer!

Race Volunteers make events it takes a lot of people to make an event work. Road Racing Cars Volunteer Positions: Clerk of the Coarse, Steward, Starter, Chief Coarse Marshal, Corner Captain, Communicator, Yellow Flagger, Blue flagger, Safety, Pri-grid, Pit in & Pit out, Rescue personnel: Ambulance crew, Fireman & Clean-up Crew Tow Truck driver, Pace Car Driver, Timing personnel, Scrutineer (Tech), Registration.
One of the coolest ways to volunteer is as a track-side marshal/corner worker. Road course marshals are race personnel that surround the road course track at specified stations that communicate to drivers with flags and each other on radios. These are a committed group of volunteers that with training and experience, can become qualified to work the big professional races like IndyCar & Formula 1. I always loved Blue Flagging, to be good you need to keep the race positions in your head.
