Northern Alberta Sports Car Club (NASCC) Statement:
2021 NASCC Summer Race Season events
Northern Alberta Sports Car Club is pleased to announce that AHS has granted an exemption to Castrol Raceway and is open under Step 1 of the reopening plans today. LETS GO RACING!
Our first event is Saturday June 19th for the License School-Track Day and TestnTune and the 7 Hour Endurance race is on Sunday June 20th. Students from the License School if you can get drive for the 3 Hour or 7 Hour Endurance Race on Sunday your team will qualify for a $80 discount. Team Entry for the 7 hour Endurance Race on Sunday is $700 and $300 for 3 hour Ironman. Maximum of 4 drivers per Team for 7 hour race and 3 drivers per Team for 3 hour race. There will also be an Endurance Race Licensing Classroom School on Saturday evening for those drivers that need to get an endurance race license.
The License School is over sold at this time but there are lots of spots available for the TestnTune on Saturday June 19th and it is an excellent way to shakedown your Sprint or Endurance race car. Entry fee for TestnTune is $275 and the entry is by car and up to 2 Co-Drivers can be registered at no extra cost. For teams entering the same car in TestnTune and either the 3 Hour Ironman or 7 Endurance Race on Sunday there will be a $50 discount applied if registered up to 2 weeks before the event.
The NASCC will also be holding a Marshall school for those volunteers interested in becoming part of our volunteer family or wanting to brush up on their skills. There will be a Classroom session on Friday June 18th with on-track instruction on Saturday, June19th. If you know someone who might be interested, please pass this information onto them.
MotorsportReg registration is open for all the above events plus the July 24th and 25th Sprint Races at https://nascc.motorsportreg.com/

As with last year, everyone including drivers, crew and spectators will need to sign the Castrol Raceway online electronic waiver once per season. It takes several minutes to initial and sign them, but you only need to do it once and it must be done BEFORE you show up at the gate. Do it now. Here are the links: Castrol Adult Online Electronic Waiver Form or Minor Waiver.
For those competitors requiring a WCMA license for the upcoming year a reminder that you will need to purchase a WCMA affiliated Club membership before applying for you WCMA license. This is a lot of information, but please pay attention to everything as it is especially important to make our events run smoothly. Specific details will be sent to each registrant of each event.
Get involved in motorsports: volunteer!
Remember watching racing can fun but being part of the race is even better. So if you are not racing come-out and volunteer the second best way to watch a race, the best way is to be in the car.
