Nick Sanchez won the ARCA Menards Series General Tire 200 at Talladega

Due to a long Red Flag the ARCA Menards Series teams were told if there was another Caution that would the last flag, so being upfront was important. Car 2 Nick Sanchez Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet came up the middle 3 wide to win the ARCA Menards Series General Tire 200 at Talladega Superspeedway. This was his 2nd ARCA Menards Series win. This was his 1st win & 2nd Top 10 of 2022. 2nd Place Car 23 Bret Holmes Golden Eagle Chevrolet posted his 1st Top 10 of 2022. 3rd Place Car 20 Corey Heim Crescent Tool Toyota posted his 2nd Top 10 of 2022.

4th Place Car 44 Thad Moffitt Clean Harbors/Team Construction Ford followed by 5th place Car 55 Gus Dean Dean Custom Air Toyota. 6th Placr Car 6 Rajah Caruth Max Siegal Inc. Chevrolet followed by 7th place Car 18 Drew Dollar Lynx Capital Toyota. 8th Place Car 36 Ryan Huff South Eastern Services/H&H Excavation Ford followed by 9th place Car 15 Parker Chase Vertical Bridge Toyota. Lastly in Top 10 was Car 32 Max Gutierrez Toughbuilt Chevroletin 10th place. Canadian Car 30 Amber Balcaen had her best finish in 12th place & just missed the Big Crash/Red Flag behind her.

On Lap 49 Toni Breidinger was being pushed & spun in the pack causing a Big 7 car crash which led to a red flag. One of the drivers involved in the incident, Scott Melton, was extracted from his car and taken to a local medical center for further evaluation. ARCA is awaiting word on his condition.
