Home Track Hero Bruce Heggerud EIR Rescue

Patrick Hope from Carquest Auto Parts presented Edmonton International Raceway’s Safety Director Bruce Heggerud with a Home Track Hero Award. From NASCAR Roots page it reads – Bruce is a HomeTrackHero in more ways than one, but to Edmonton Int’l Raceway, he’s the lifeblood that keeps the track’s safety program top-notch. His name was featured on the C-Post of Ryan Blaney’s No. 12 Team Penske Ford Mustang at Kansas Speedway this past weekend. Safety director Bruce Heggerud hasn’t missed a race at Edmonton in more than 30 years. Shaun Umscheid – What? Nooo Waaay Guy was also in attendance.

This is it, tomorrow September 16th is our LAST RACE of the 2023 Season. Plenty of action on the track with six classes of racing – Bucks Auto “Race a Wreck” Enduro, NASCAR Late Models, Future Stocks, Stackers, IMCA Modifieds, and Hit to Pass.
