Car 24 Layne Hamilton won the Baby Grand Canada Northwest Scaled Late Models Feature Race at EIR. This was Hamilton’s 1st win of 2015 & 3rd career Baby Grand win. 2nd Place Car 88 Dale Edwards. 3rd Place Car 95 James McKennitt.

Layne Hamilton kept working corner 2 & finally got his break for the pass & lead on the backstrtetch. Dale Edwards did try to fight back to no avail as Hamilton took the checkered flag. Dale Edwards Car 10 blew up in practice, so he had to drive the Evolution rental Car 88. This was the 1st time the rental car had been run this season & 1st time it had been run as a rental. Good motor & stuff but did not have his containment seat, wasn’t comfortable in the car, had a bit of a throttle & brake issue.
The Baby Grands are getting faster as most are running 14 second laps, in particular 4 guys have improved greatly this year. Everyone is starting to learn how to work on the cars & stuff. The class is getting better at set-up & the class as a whole is also getting quicker.
Baby Grand Canada Northwest Scaled Late Models are up North Racing for a double Header Weekend at Hythe Motor Speedway double-header.
