Calgary Kart Racing Club (CKRC) Update:
Fred Causer: “Growth still heading upwards with 50 people attending the 2022 Rookie School last Saturday. We developed an Electronic Drivers Record to run alongside our electronic penalty manager 12 points and you suffer a 2 race ban. More cameras to be fitted to marshal posts to create a video marshaling system that eventually will be able to be viewed on-line so people can watch the racing from their couches.”

Calgary Kart Racing Club (CKRC) is a non-profit multi class kart racing club with a long history with members from ages 8 – 60 years old. Come out to Strathmore Motorsports Park & see exciting CKRC kart racing events. A lot of great Canadian IndyCar drivers came from kart racing such as Paul Tracy & James Hinchcliffe.

Volunteer Race Officials
It takes a lot of people to put on an event on; my favorite is being a track-side Corner Marshal. The best way to watch a race is to be in the kart. The second-best way to watch is to be a trackside marshal. If you are interested in racing but not sure about it yourself, being a marshal might be for you. Marshals are there for emergencies and to communicate with racers with flags and to communicate regarding the race with others via radio. Training is provided by an extremely experienced Race Director Fred Causer & experienced Marshals.

For more information volunteering a full compliment of staff required… all positions are open and anyone wanting to volunteer can contact manager@ckrc.com Or the new VP Operations Vp.operations@ckrc.com
