- Practice; After moving thru NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) safety inspection on Friday afternoon the No. 27 CELSIUS Chevrolet would hit the 1.017-mile Rockingham Speedway in a scheduled NXS 50-minute practice session for the first time in 21 years (2004). When the checkered flag would fly on the practice session, Jeb Burton would record a fast lap of 23.065 at 146.716 mph on Lap-24 of his 33-lap session putting him 4th fastest of the 40 cars entered for Saturday’s NXS North Carolina Education Lottery 250 Presented by Black’s Tire.

– Starting Position; Bright and early Saturday morning at 6:30 AM ET teams will be required to pass NASCAR technical inspection prior to lining up for NXS qualifying at 11:30 PM ET to determine the starting order for Saturday afternoon’s North Carolina Education Lottery 250 Presented by Black’s Tire. In 2025, intermediate-track qualifying would consist of a single round of single car qualifying for one lap. Burton is scheduled to be the 23rd car on track to make his qualification run. Qualifying will be shown in its entirety LIVE on the CW Sports App.

– Rockingham Speedway Stats; Burton will make his first NXS start at Rockingham Speedway in Saturday’s North Carolina Education Lottery 250 Presented by Black’s Tire. Although NASCAR racing has not been active at Rockingham Speedway since 2013, Burton holds two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts at Rockingham with a solid 14.0 average finish rating. Completing all 405 laps attempted in two starts, Burton would start in the from the pole position in 2013 and capture a career best finish at Rockingham with the seventh position. Back in Burton’s first visit to Rockingham in 2012, the 19-year-old Burton would start in the 27th position and drive thru the field to earn a 11th place finish.
