JIM ALBERT MEMORIAL GOLD CUP
AUGUST 16 & 17, 2019: Dating back to speedway days of the early 1950s, Gold Cup is Canada’s oldest and most prestigious oval racing event. Gold Cup features the largest field of sprint cars in Canada and an incredible prize purse of over $35,000.00. Castrol Raceway will again be the center of the sprint car universe, as the best drivers in the world return for Canada’s longest running dirt oval sprint car event. The winged warriors will do battle with their fire-breathing 850+ horsepower machines each night. This is the only chance sprint car fans in Western Canada have to see the NSA Sprints in action, with their thrilling wheel-to-wheel brand of racing, just centimetres apart at breathtaking speeds.

OUTLAW TRUCK DRAGS AUGUST 17, 2019 9 AM – 6 PM
Castrol Raceway Statement:
Castrol Raceway is proud to host the first Annual Outlaw Truck Drags. On August 17, 2019 the Inaugural event will play host to fire breathing Diesels, stock and performance Gassers, and 1/8 Mile Outlaws; As long as it’s a truck it is allowed to race! The day will also feature a full contingent of 200PMH Funny Cars. The Midway will feature the latest parts and apparel and a mobile chassis dyno. A Fun Family Friendly day at the track with plenty to see in the pits; hundreds of beautiful trucks on display and ready to race
