ERA MOTORSPORT TAKES ON PETER AUTO 2.0L CUP IN 2024
Oliver Bryant and Kyle Tilley will pilot a 1965 Porsche 911 for the five-event championship.
Indianapolis IN, January 12 — Two titans of the historic racing world will join forces as Era Motorsport is set to compete in the 2024 Peter Auto 2.0L Cup with Kyle Tilley and Oliver Bryant at the
wheel of their 1965 Porsche 911, “The Queen of Diamonds.” Tilley with a Rolex 24 win and an Asian Le Mans Championship under his belt, and Bryant with a record of over 200 race wins and two 2.0L Cup Championships to his name are poised and ready to be a massive threat in Peter Auto’s only one-make race series. The 2.0L Cup consists of five races across five European race tracks, each lasting 90 minutes. The series is made specifically for pre-1966 Porsche 911 SWB models equipped with the eponymous 2.0L flat-six motor.

Era Motorsort made their debut in the category last year with the duo teaming up at Paul Ricard Circuit for The Queen of Diamonds’ first race. “I’m delighted to be partnered with Kyle for the 2.0L Cup in 2024,” said Bryant. “Kyle showed his class by leading on lap one of his 2.0L Cup debut last year at Paul Ricard.“ “I’m excited to be joining Era Motorsport for the full season and look forward to being competitive from the start.”
Tilley shares the same excitement as Bryant on the upcoming season, stating, “Olly and I have a few races together planned for this season. Having him join us is a big plus; anyone in the historic racing world knows he’s a top-tier driver and will be a true threat on track. I’m always excited when I get to share a car with him. The 2.0L Cup will kick off on April 5 this year at the Peter Auto Mugello Classic, before heading to Belgium for the Spa-Classic weekend May 17-19. The midpoint of the Cup will be in France at the Grand Prix de l’Age d’Or at Dijon-Prenois Circuit June 7-9, and then moves to Paul Ricard Circuit for the Peter Auto Dix Mille Tours August 30 – September 3. Finally, the 2.0L Cup will conclude at the famous Estoril Circuit in Portugal October 4-6.
Each round of the 2.0L Cup will consist of a 40-minute Free Practice session, and a 30-minute Qualifier to set the field for the 90-minute main event where an entire field of historic 911s will be
pushed to their limits as they fight for the top spot on the podium. Of course, the 2.0L Cup won’t be Era Motorsport’s only entry at Peter Auto events! Stay tuned for more information about what fan favorites, and new additions to the team will be racing where!
