Jake Hill Makes GT3 Debut: 2024 British Touring Car Champion Jake Hill is making his GT3 debut this weekend with Era Motorsport. The thirty-year-old Englishman has been on the BTCC circuit since 2013, and rose through the ranks to become champion for the first time last year. Hill and Era Motorsport already have a deep relationship after connecting through historic racing, where Hill has driven for Era at Goodwood multiple times, as well as in last year’s Spa Six Hour historic endurance race.
Hill will be available for interviews and questions during the weekend on track, as well as remotely.
Dubai to Daytona: Era Motorsport is currently facing the busiest month of the team’s history as the 2025 season starts with the 24H Dubai on the 11th and 12th of January, the 6H Abu Dhabi on January 20th and 21st, and the Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 25th and 26th. With 54 hours of racing ahead of the team this month, logistics across two different shops, and new beginnings for both teams, Era Motorsport is rising to the occasion to be a household name in sportscar racing.
20 Years of Dalziel in Sportscars: The 2025 season marks Ryan Dalziel’s Emerald Anniversary of his first year in the Grand-Am Rolex Series in 2005. In that time he has won three Rolex 24s and multiple series championships, and become an indispensable driver who can pull the best out of any race car he gets behind the wheel of. Dalziel will be joining us for the 24H Dubai as well as the Rolex 24 at Daytona for two 24-hour races just two weeks apart.

Hill is making his GT3 debut this weekend in the Ferrari and is already showing impressive lap times and improvement in practice.
“I’m super happy that Kyle has asked me to drive with Era Motorsport for Dubai and Abu Dhabi, that’s going to be absolutely fantastic. I know that we’re going to be joined by some other amazing drivers, so it’s a fantastic way to start my endurance racing career.”
“I’ve not had a career in endurance racing before so it’s going to be really special to start this journey with Era. We’ve had a fantastic few results with historic racing in the past year and it’s going to be a real pleasure to turn that into professional motorsport now and turn our attention to that.
“I’m excited to be driving the Ferrari 296. It’s a fantastic car, and I cannot wait to get my hands on it.
“And of course to undertake the 24H Dubai, it’s been a fantastic race now for many years, and the 6H Abu Dhabi is going to be a real amazing experience as well. I’m really, really happy to be joining those guys and driving such a fantastic car at such fantastic events. I’m absolutely buzzing and cannot wait to get going.”

Ryan Dalziel: Entering his emerald anniversary in sportscar racing, Ryan Dalziel has been involved since 2005 when he joined the Grand Am Sports Car Series. With IMSA and WEC championships, as well as a Le Mans win under his belt Dalziel has continued to find success in the Era Motorsport LMP2 program in IMSA, and was an obvious choice for the 24H Series.
“I’m super excited about this new venture with Era and Dwight with the Ferrari 296 GT3, it’s always fun to take on new challenges in racing and tick a new box in a series I’ve never raced a season in.”
“It’s going to be a big year and I have a season of racing in the Ferrari 296 GT3 already from 2023, so I know how great the car is. Ready to get my fifth season with my Era family started.”

Kyle Tilley: Long-time racing driver, Kyle Tilley has experience in just about every kind of car you can imagine. From the Can-Am Monsters of the 1970’s to the high-end Le Mans Prototypes that race today, Tilley has seen success in countless racing series, includin Asian Le Mans Series where he is a class champion, and IMSA where he has won a Rolex 24 at Daytona.
“I’m excited for the 2025 season with the new Ferrari 296! The car looks stunning, and it has a lot of carryover from our existing LMP2, thanks to the Oreca build. I truly believe that both the Ferrari and the Creventic series will be a fantastic place for Dwight to master the car, and I’m looking forward to helping him in this next phase of his racing career.
“When initially discussing options with Dwight and Ryan, driving the Ferrari wasn’t something that had ever crossed my mind, but with the layout of the Pro-Am class regulations (and the Creventic AM+ category), Ryan suggested that I should do it with them, getting the band back together so to speak!
“I have every faith in our driver lineup with the addition of Jake Hill and Oliver Bryant for the 24hrs; Jake, I am convinced, is the fastest silver on the planet right now, and Oliver brings a wealth of experience, courtesy of LeMans and Blancpain experience.”

“I’m delighted to be joining Era Motorsport in their new Ferrari 296 GT3 for selected rounds of the Creventic 24H series in 2025,”
“It has been 10 years since I last raced a GT3 car so I’d like to thank Kyle and Dwight for this opportunity. I’ve shared a car with Jake Hill before and have a great relationship with Kyle, having won a championship together this year.”
“Ryan is a proven winner so as a team we’ll have the right mix of speed and experience.”

For 2025, Merriman enters new territory as he hops behind the wheel of the Ferrari in the 24H Series for a new chapter of racing.
“I will miss racing IMSA next year, but I’m very excited to mix things up and race at tracks that are either new to me or that I haven’t been to in quite a while. As usual, Era will be running the car and we have a great team assembled for the series.”

About Era Motorsport:
Era Motorsport has deep roots in racing. Founder Kyle Tilley started racing at the age of six, following in the footsteps of his father, and he never looked back. In 2018, Era Motorsport was formed in Indianapolis, Indiana with the idea of providing unmatched excellence in historic racing.
It didn’t take long for Era to expand into the world of professional sportscar racing, and by 2021 the team had won their first of two Rolex 24 at Daytonas and had a full-time entry in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship. In 2025 they expanded once again into the world of GT3 racing, entering a Ferrari 296 GT3 in the Creventic 24H Series.
All the while, Era Motorsport continued its pursuit of perfection in the world of historic racing, expanding its presence back into Tilley’s home country of England. Era has made multiple appearances at Goodwood including last year when they ran seven of the Shadow Can-Am cars as part of the Can-Am Cup Celebration at the 2024 Members’ Meeting where the team also picked up their first Goodwood win in the Graham Hill Trophy.
Looking to the future, Era continues to expand and grow its reach into the racing world, as it looks to bring in a new era of racing.
