“In Pursuit of Perfection” Episode 2 highlights the battle the LMP2 team faced at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring
Indianapolis, IN (May 8, 2023) – Era Motorsport and Pindare Films LLC have released the second episode of its 2023 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship documentary series, “In Pursuit of Perfection” on YouTube.
Era Motorsport competes in the WeatherTech Championship’s LMP2 class with regular drivers Dwight Merriman and Ryan Dalziel, and INDY NXT star Christian Rasmussen joining in for endurance races.
Coming off of a disappointing end to the Rolex 24, facing terminal motor issues at 5:30 a.m., the team knew going into the second event on the calendar that they had a lot to prove.
At the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring the team faced a hard battle after early drama, but stuck it out for the entire twelve hours to go all the way from last, to third in class, with the final two passes happening in the final 10 minutes of on-track racing!
Now, as the team looks forward to the first sprint race for the LMP2 cars in 2023, it’s time to take a look back at Sebring and relive all of the action, as the team looks forward to more success at Weathertech Raceway this weekend.
