EMRA Announces 2018 Race Season Schedule

Edmonton Motorcycle Roadracing Association (EMRA) Statement:

The EMRA experienced incredible growth in 2017 with over 100 riders contesting every round and is looking to continue that growth in 2018.

Racing will be held at Castrol Raceway the largest racing facility in western Canada. This will be the fifth season of racing at the 2.7km road course track. Additional practice days and a test and tune date have been added to the schedule to accommodate the growth the club has experienced.

The EMRA will continue to promote safe, competitive road racing, and feature riders and classes ranging from Novice Open to Expert Superbike. 2017 saw Mike Zottmann successfully defend his third Expert Superbike title in a row. Ryan Boddy claimed the Expert 600 Superbike title. However, circumstances are such that both titles will be vacant for 2018. A large number of western Canada’s fastest Expert riders anxiously awaiting the opportunity to claim the titles for 2018. The season looks to be more exciting than ever before.

So no matter what your skill level or level of involvement with track riding the EMRA and Castrol Raceway will have something to offer.
