May 9 & 10 : Reunion Weekend for Race City Motorsports Park (and all the Ghost Tracks)
2020 marks Dinosaur Downs Speedways 10 Anniversary of car racing and we begin on May 9 & 10 with a celebration of the tracks who came before us. Fans, racers, safety crews, employees and volunteers are welcome to come and make new memories with old friends.
Race City Motorsport Park was iconic and we shall never forget the 24 years of racing there. It doesn’t matter if you spent your Saturday nights at Circle 8, Stampede Speedway (1or 2), Calgary International Raceway; or Standards dirt track, in Fort McLeod or Didsbury, at Rocky Mountain Raceway at Alderside, or Bridge County Raceway near Lethbridge, everyone is welcome. The weekend includes: Meet and Greet Reception, display and artifacts, and special guests. The one thing a racing reunion has to include is racing. At this time we will see the IMCA Modifieds, hobby stocks and our mini claimer class on our 3/8 mile dirt oval. Get out your old race jackets and hats. We will announce times and more surprises for the weekend and the season as planning progresses.
