Corey Heim won the Rain Shortened NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Long John Silver’s 200

Starting from 4th place Truck 11 Corey Heim Safelite Toyota won the Long John Silver’s 200, his 3rd win in 26 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series races. This is his 1st win & 5th Top 10 finish in 2023. This is his 1st win & 1st Top 10 finish in 2 races at Martinsville Speedway. 2nd Place Truck 51 Kyle Busch Zariz Transport Chevrolet, started from 2nd place posted his 9th Top 10 finish in 12 races at Martinsville Speedway. It is his 3rd Top 10 finish in 2023. 3rd Place Truck 38 Zane Smith Long John Silver’s Ford, started from pole posted his 4th Top 10 finish in 4 races at Martinsville Speedway.

4th Place Truck 98 Ty Majeski Soda Sense Ford, started from 12th place followed by 5th place Truck 15 Tanner Gray JBL Toyota, started from 9th place. 6th Place Truck 99 Ben Rhodes Campers Inn RV Ford, started from 3rd place followed by 7th place Truck 25 Matt DiBenedetto Rackley Roofing Chevrolet, started from 5th place. 8th Place Truck 17 Taylor Gray # Dead On Tools Toyota, started from 24th place was the highest finishing rookie. 9th Place Truck 1 William Sawalich Starkey/Soundgear Toyota, started from 22nd place & lastly in the Top 10 was Truck 4 Chase Purdy Bama Buggies Chevrolet, in 10th place, started from 8th place. Canadian Truck 52 Stewart Friesen Halmar International Toyota finished in 30th place. To hurray up the race NASCAR put the Trucks out on a wet track with rain tires, this the 1st time rain tires were used in a NASCAR oval race. They said they would NOT put them out when still raining.
