Restarting from tail approximately 30th place for a due pit penalty in the last stage Car 16 AJ Allmendinger RAMCO Specialties Inc Chevrolet won the 8th Annual B&L Transport 170 at Mid-Ohio, his 7th win in 40 Xfinity Series races. This is his 2nd win & 8th Top 10 finish in 2021. This is his 2nd win & 3rd Top 3 finish in 3 races at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. It was a great race as AJ Allmendinger made his way through the field twice, from the start 16th place to leader & then stage 3 start in 30th place to leader. Indy 500 Winner IndyCar team owner Michael Shank said if anyone can come back from being 30th place it is AJ Allmendinger. 2nd Place Car 11 Justin Haley LeafFilter Gutter Protection Chevrolet, started from 10th place posted his 2nd Top 10 finish in 2 races at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. It is his 8th Top 10 finish in 2021. 3. 2. Car 54 Ty Gibbs Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, started from 2nd place posted his 6th Top 5 finish this season & was the highest finishing rookie.
