2 Wheeled Racing Action at Strathmore Motorsports Park AMRA Regional Round 1

AMRA Regional Round 1 June 28, 2020
Due to COVID-19 the National Double header event was cancelled earlier. Alberta went to stage 2 allowing motorsports with up to 100 people, this let Alberta Mini RoadRacing Association (AMRA) have the AMRA Regional Round 1 June 28, 2020, The numbers were down due to COVID-19, National event being cancelled & it was raining for the weekend. Even though it was crappy weather there were Die-hard racers & volunteers put on the event. They have more people registered for the next event AMRA Regional Round 2 RACE DAY July 12, 2020, they can use volunteers so if not racing come out & volunteer.

The Alberta Mini RoadRacing Association is a non-profit amateur roadracing organization that provides an introduction to the sport of motorcycle road racing to riders of all ages, genders and abilities in a closed environment with a focus on our values. The club has many classes to fit the needs and skills of all riders. Starting with 50cc bikes for beginners and the youth class (ages 6 to 9), expanding up to larger displacement bikes for the seasoned vet, they welcome everyone.

Motorsports Volunteer

The best way to watch a race is to be in it on a bike, the 2nd best way to watch, is to volunteer & be involved in the race. So if you are not racing come-out & volunteer. It takes many positions to run a race: Corner Marshalling, Start-Finish, Registration, and Pre-grid, Lap Scoring and Race Control, Tech and Inspections, First-aid and Medical, Typically, volunteers commit to the full race day event from 9am to 5pm. That means lunch is on them. No experience is required for training is provided as required.
