There was rubbing & spinning in the caution filled race. in the last lap at the UNOH Battle at the Beach in Daytona Florida on February 19/13 kept going, which gave Cameron Hayley car 24 for Cabinets by Hayley K&N Nascar Series the advantage to take the win from the last corner.
James Hinchcliff, with Indy car 27 for GoDaddy Chevrolet, was being blocked by Takuma Sato in the last lap at the Itaipava Sao Paulo Indy 300 May 5/13. He was also able to take the lead coming into the checkered flag.
Even though the UNOH Battle at the Beach in Daytona Florida race was not a points race, Cameron has been able to maintain 2nd place in points in NASCAR K&N PRO SERIES WEST with 408 points in 10 starts 8 top 5’s 10 top 10’s. There is more to come of this young man in the future, keep an eye on him and you will be able to say, “I saw him when.”
This is James’ best year in the IZOD IndyCar Series with 376 points in 16 starts, 3 wins 4 top 5’s 9 top 10’s. Being with Andretti Autosport # 27 GoDaddy Car. We just might see a championship in the near future.
