Ty Gibbs, Joe Gibbs Grandson got his 1st win in his NASCAR Xfinity Series career debut

Starting from 15th place Car 54 Ty Gibbs Monster Energy Toyota won the Super Start Batteries 188 At DAYTONA Presented by O’Reilly, his 1st win in his NASCAR Xfinity Series career debut. Ty Gibbs becomes the sixth driver to win in his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut, joining Dale Earnhardt (1982, Daytona), Joe Ruttman (1982, Dover), Ricky Rudd (1983, Dover), Terry Labonte (1985, Charlotte) and Kurt Busch (2006, Texas). Ty Gibbs was the highest finishing rookie. Ty Gibbs becomes the youngest driver in the NASCAR Xfinity Series to win a road course event at 19 years, 4 months, 16 days. Record was previously held by Austin Cindric (20 years old) at the 2019 Mid-Ohio race. 2nd Place Car 22 Austin Cindric PPG Ford, started from 2nd place posted his 2nd Top 10 finish in 2 races at the DAYTONA Road Course.
