Truck 91 Cory Mcmeakin won the North American Big Rig Racing Feature Race at the Bullring Las Vegas Motor Speedway Las Vegas, NV. 2nd Place Truck 36 Isaac Harder. 3rd Place Truck 59 Glen Creed. There was good racing but they did have rain delays.

Velocity: “Ashley Creed you are 19 years old & you race in the North American Big Rig Racing Truck 58; what kind of truck is that?”
Ashley Creed: “A 58 Kenworth with L10 Cummins.”
Velocity: “Is this your 1st year racing with the Big Rigs?”
Ashley Creed: “Yes, I did 2 heat races last year, but this is my 1st full year.”
Velocity: “I was told racing runs in your family?”
Ashley Creed: “Yes my dad (Truck 59 Glen Creed) has been racing forever.”
Velocity: “So I am guessing that is where racing comes from, you were part of a team & decided to start racing?”
Ashley Creed: “Yes from the time I was little, I always wanted to drive with him, I would go to all the races, tried to help him & stuff. After that I wanted to race, so he put me into a hornet race car, it took some convincing to get my mom to let me get into the trucks.”
Velocity: “So you raced hornets, where did you race them?”
Ashley Creed: “At our local track Western Speedway Victoria, BC.”
Velocity: “So after you raced hornets did you go straight to Big Rigs from there or did you race something else?”
Ashley Creed: “Hornets to Big Rigs.”
Velocity: “So what is the difference from racing a small car to a Big Rig?”
Ashley Creed: “It handles a lot different & I am sitting way up higher, it is just a complete different feeling, so much fun though.”
Velocity: “I see that you were just at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, how big was that track?
Ashley Creed: “A 3/8 mile track.”
Velocity: “I see in the main there were 10 Trucks, how many heats were there & did you have any more trucks?”
Ashley Creed: “Yes we had 1 Heat race each & there were 11 trucks in total but one was out with mechanical.”
Velocity: “So racing runs in your family what do like about racing?”
Ashley Creed: “I just love getting in that car or truck, going as fast as I can & chasing the other cars/trucks down.”
Velocity: “So your plan is to complete a full season. Do you have any particular goal for your 1st year?”
Ashley Creed: “I would love to win a heat or something, but really just trying to keep my line, practice my line, stay in the group & not get lapped.”
Velocity: “So most tracks have 2 grooves, do you like the top or bottom?”
Ashley Creed: “I personally like the bottom groove best, because I can keep my line tighter when I run the bottom groove.”
Velocity: “So this is your 1st full season, is there any advice you can suggest to someone wanting to get into Big Rig Racing?”
Ashley Creed: “I would say start with a car, get really comfortable with the car & then move into the Big Rigs. When you are in a Big Rig it is a whole different kind of thing & you want to be a pretty good racer 1st”
Velocity: “This season, is there a particular track you are looking forward to race at?”
Ashley Creed: “Tenino, it is a cool track.”
Velocity: “Then after that, you will be at your home race track; Western Speedway Victoria, BC on August 27, where you will have a lot of fans at?”
Ashley Creed: “All my friends & Family will be there to cheer me on.”
Velocity: “Who are your sponsors?
