2015 Solosport/Autocross

 

The Southern Alberta Solosport Club (SASC) Proposed Event Dates

 

Autocross is a form of motorsport that is designed as safe competition.

 

Autocross is a timed competition in which cars move one at a time through a specified course. As an entry-level motorsport it provides a way for drivers to work on control & skill at their own pace.

 

Autocross courses are typically one to two kilometers long and marked with traffic cones to work more on driver skill rather than on horsepower. Events are for any classes that allow almost any vehicle, from a bug to a Ferrari.

2. May 30/31 (Sat./Sun.) – SoloPro Driving Schools – instructors from USA

 

3. June 20/21 (Sat./Sun.) FMC#2

 

4. July 25/26 (Sat./Sun.) FMC#3

 

5. Aug. 21/22/23 (Fri./Sat./Sun.) – Canadian National Championships – note Friday is a Test ‘n Tune and set up day for the Nationals. Banquet etc. will likely take place (TBA).
