THURSDAY, June 30
SPEC-D DRIFT PRACTICE. Fine tune your driving skills. New drivers are always welcome. Drifting in an atmosphere where racers/drifters are off the streets and on the track. Gates open at 5PM. Practice goes to 10 PM or later. Drivers $40, Spectators $10.

CANADA DAY – FRIDAY, JULY 1
ROAD COURSE: TRACK JUNKIES OPEN LAPPING. Track Junkies is Alberta’s premier open-marque performance driving program. We offer owners and drivers of high-performance and sports cars the opportunity to drive their cars on a closed road course (aka race track) at speed. We provide a safe and welcoming environment for participants to explore the capabilities and limits of their high-performance and sports cars while improving their driving skills.
CANADA DAY, Friday July 1. Instructional track tour 8:00 AM. Drivers’ meeting 8:30 AM. Track hot from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Time Attack run group. Price $295 per driver; +$100 for novice instruction; +$25 for transponder (time attack only). DRAG STRIP: JB’S POWER CENTRE STREET LEGAL. Castrol Raceway works very closely with the RCMP, Edmonton Police Department, and numerous local High Schools not only to promote the sport, but to encourage young street racers to take their passion for speed to a safe environment. Join us at the race track and race your vehicle during the weekly JB’s Power Centre Street Legal. As long as your vehicle is register-able and insurable… you’re good to go! Race All Night for only $40. Spectators: $10. Gates Open at 5 PM, Racing at 6:30 PM: Tech Closes most nights at 9 PM
SATURDAY, JULY 2 AND SUNDAY, JULY 3
DRAG STRIP: NITRO RATZ PEANUT BUTTER & JAM NATIONALS AND TOP E. DRAG STRIP: JB’S POWER CENTRE STREET LEGAL. The Nitro Ratz Junior Dragster Association is a group of dedicated kids, families and volunteers who promote sportsmanship, camaraderie, team spirit and lifelong friendships. The warmth and encouragement can be heard and felt at all times. We strive to encourage and engage all participants including spectators to learn and embrace our passion of drag racing. The Nitro Ratz welcome you to come and enjoy this truly amazing and eclectic group of youth as they compete for trophies and points throughout the season.

Castrol Raceway, Canada’s Premier Motorsports Complex, annually hosts over 100 races including the nationally recognized events: IHRA MOPAR Rocky Mountain Nitro Jam Nationals, Hot August Night, and Monster Truck Throwdown. In addition to the ¼ mile IHRA Sanctioned Drag Strip, 3/8 mile Clay Oval Track and 10 acre Pro Motocross Track, a brand new 2.7 km FIA sanctioned Paved Road Course opened at the Raceway in 2013.
