The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the oldest active sports car race in endurance racing; beginning in 1923 Le Mans, France, and is considered to be one of the most prestigious automobile races in the world.
The are 6 Classes in the race LM P1 – H, LM P1 – L, LM P2, GTE Pro, GTE Am, CDNT. 3 Drivers per team, then there are 1,731 marshals, 276 of which are pit marshals, 376 marshals are from abraod, representing 15 countries, some even coming from Australia 1, Canada 1 and even the United States 1. This race is on my bucket list that I want to marshal some day.
