Statement from Badlands Motorsports Resort
We have been bombarded with questions today. As many have likely heard another Motorsports development, Rockyview Motorsports Park, had their Master Site Plan and Rezoning application unanimously rejected by Rockyview Council last night and it will not go to First Reading.
We have gone through 6 council votes and Kneehill County has passed first, second and final readings of our Area Structure Plan Bylaws and our Rezoning Bylaws in 2013-2014. There are no more Bylaws that need to be passed.
As discussed in our Dec 2nd update, we are currently working with the County to get our Development agreement approved, which will then be followed by our Comprehensive Site Plan and Development permits. The work has been completed and we hope to get everything finalized as soon as possible so construction can commence.
