Scott McLaughlin won his 1st NTT INDYCAR SERIES win at St. Petersburg

Starting from his 1st pole Car 3 Scott McLaughlin, Chevrolet, won his 1st NTT INDYCAR SERIES in the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding. This is his 1st Top 3 of 2022. Scott McLaughlin said: “Thank you to Roger Penske, everyone, Yeah, DEX Imaging jumping on board, trusting me, and then Roger Penske and Tim Cindric giving me the opportunity to come here. I miss my mom and dad dearly and my family. Wish you guys were here. What a day.” Great start for Penske racing winning the 1st race of NASCAR Cup Series & NTT INDYCAR SERIES. It was a close race with a Margin of victory: 0.5095 of a second. 2nd Place Car 10 Alex Palou, Honda, started from 10th place posted his 1st Top 3 of 2022. 3rd Place Car 12 Will Power, Chevrolet, started from 2nd place posted his 1st Top 3 of 2022.

4th Place Car 26 Colton Herta, Honda, started from 3rd place followed by 5th place Car 28 Romain Grosjean, Honda, started from 5th place. 6th Place Car 21 Rinus VeeKay, Chevrolet, started from 4th place followed by 7th place Car 15 Graham Rahal, Honda, started from 11th place. 8th Place Car 9 Scott Dixon, Honda, started from 7th place followed by 9th place Car 8 Marcus Ericsson, Honda, started from 8th place. Lastly in the Top 10 was Car 51 Takuma Sato, Honda, in 10th place, started from 22nd place. Canadian Car 29 Devlin DeFrancesco, Honda finished in 22nd place. Canadian Car 4 Dalton Kellett, Chevrolet finished in 25th place.
