In packed house at the public hearing for Rockyview Motorsports Park proposal to the MD of Rocky View Council was defeated. There were so many people there that people had to listen in the hallway with speakers. A lot of people who have done a lot of work left disappointed.
Reijo Silvennoinen said “Disappointing that they came to such an unanimous decision. The only motorsport friendly places in Southern Alberta is Strathmore, Fort Macleod, Medicine Hat & Knee Hill County.”

Rockyview Motorsports Park was overwhelmed by the support shown by individuals and groups speaking in favour of the project at the January 27, 2015 public hearing and want to thank each of these people for taking the time to support the project.
At this point we will be taking some time to consider alternative next steps.
