Rocky Mountain Motorsports Statement:

This past Wednesday afternoon Mountain View County held a Public Hearing to consider approval of the proposed Rocky Mountain Motorsports Park to be located at the corner of Highway 2 and 581.

After nearly six hours Council determined that they required some additional information and therefore accepted the recommendation of County Administration to leave the public hearing open until December 14 at 9:00 AM. At that time Council will reconvene and a decision on approval will be made.

RMM would like to thank those that came out to support our application and particularly those that spoke on behalf of the application.

There are many reasons for the project & the developer has looked taking care neighbour concerns. One stat that was interesting is that one local said he pays $400/yr property tax and the new development will be $500K in phase 1 + another 200K when all done.
