Nico Rosberg Mercedes wins the Brazilian Grand Prix to keep his Drivers Championship Hopes Alive

Starting from pole position car 6 Nico Rosberg Mercedes wins the Brazilian Grand Prix for his 5th win & Mercedes 15th of 2014. 2nd Place Car 44 Lewis Hamilton Mercedes started from 2nd place followed by 3rd place was the fan favorite Car 19 Felipe Massa Williams-Mercedes from Brazil.

4th Place Car 22 Jenson Button McLaren-Mercedes followed by 5th place Car 1 Sebastian Vettel Red Bull Racing-Renault. 6th Place Car 14 Fernando Alonso Ferrari followed by 7th place Car 7 Kimi Räikkönen Ferrari. 8th Place Car 27 Nico Hulkenberg Force India-Mercedes followed by 9th place Car 20 Kevin Magnussen McLaren-Mercedes. Lastly in the Top 10 was Car 77 Valtteri Bottas Williams-Mercedes in 10th place.

Nico Rosberg held off the intense pressure from Lewis Hamilton but it was Hamilton who made a mistake this race & spun off track.

Due to Car 6 Nico Rosberg Mercedes win over team-mate Car 44 Lewis Hamilton Mercedes the Drivers Championship will be decided at the last race at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix November 23, 2014. 1st Place in points is Car 44 Lewis Hamilton Mercedes with 334 points, 2nd place is Car 6 Nico Rosberg Mercedes with 317 points, Car 3 Daniel Ricciardo Red Bull Racing-Renault with 214 points. For Nico Rosberg to win the Drivers Championship, Lewis Hamilton has to have a very bad race day.

Nico Rosberg stated “He liked the whole weekend & was happy how it turned out.”

Lewis Hamilton said “It was an amazing race, I had a great time, obviously I had a big mistake mid part through the race, but otherwise the car was fantastic, the team did a great job. It was a great race for Nico & great to see Felipe up here & we had the best crowd today.”
