Starting from 3rd place Car 78 Martin Truex Jr. Auto-Owners Insurance Toyota won the 7th Annual Go Bowling 400, his 9th win in 416 NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series races. This is his 2nd win and 7th Top 10 finish in 2017. This is his 1st win & 6th Top 10 finish in 18 races at Kansas Speedway. 2nd Place Car 2 Brad Keselowski Elite Support Ford, started from 17th place posted his 8th Top 10 finish in 15 races at Kansas Speedway. Martin Truex Jr. won with a Margin of Victory: 1.100 Seconds & ended his curse at Kansas Speedway. The big news of the race was the 11th Caution on lap 201 for Car 10 Danica Patrick Wonder Woman/One Cure Ford, Car 22 Joey Logano AAA Insurance Ford, Car 43 Aric Almirola Smithfield Ford Crash in turn 1 [Red Flag: 27:41]. Joey Logano had a mechanical problem causing him to hit Danica Patrick causing her car to burst into flames. Aric Almirola entered the crash at full speed around 200 mph with so much force of the crash he had had to be cut out the car. Almirola was air transferred to a local hospital. Patrick & Logano were released from the infield care centre before the end of the race.
