Kyle Busch won both NASCAR Series races at Martinsville Speedway

Starting from 7th place Car 18 Kyle Busch M&M’s 75th Anniversary Toyota won the 67th Annual STP 500, his 35th win in 396 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. This is Kyle Busch’s 1st win & 5th Top 10 finish in 2016. With the win, Busch is virtually guaranteed a spot in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. This is his 1st win & 11th Top 10 finish in 22 races at Martinsville Speedway, his previous
best finish was second, in 2012. Busch, who won Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, completed the first NASCAR national series weekend sweep at Martinsville. Busch led 352 laps, the most at Martinsville since Bobby Hamilton led 378 on April 20, 1998. 2nd Place Car 47 AJ Allmendinger Kroger/Butterfinger/Coffeemate Chevrolet, started from 6th place posted his 4th Top 10 finish and 2nd runner-up finish in 16 races at Martinsville Speedway. It is his 2nd Top 10 finish in 2016. 3rd Place Car 42 Kyle Larson Target Chevrolet, started from 17th place posted his 1st Top 10 finish in 5 races at Martinsville Speedway.

Kyle Busch said “I can’t say enough about this whole JGR team,” The (No. 18) M&M’s Camry was awesome in practice (on Saturday). We had a really good car through practice, and (crew chief) Adam (Stevens) made some really good adjustments overnight to keep us where we needed to be, running up front all day.”
