Joey Logano won the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series 22nd Annual Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube

Starting from 10th place Car 22 Joey Logano Pennzoil Ford won the 22nd Annual Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube, his 22nd win in 366 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races. This is his 1st win & 2nd Top 10 finish in 2019. This is his 1st win & 8th Top 10 finish in 12 races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This win gives Penske Racing another 1, 2 finish. Logano was very pleased to win the race for his primary sponsor Pennzoil as they were also the race sponsor. 2nd Place Car 2 Brad Keselowski Discount Tire Ford, started from 19th place posted his 8th Top 10 finish in 12 races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It is his 2nd Top 10 finish in 2019. 3rd Place Car 18 Kyle Busch M&M’s Chocolate Bar Toyota, started from 3rd place posted his 9th Top 10 finish in 16 races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. 3rd Place is good for most drivers except Kyle Busch who was trying to sweep the weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, his hometown. Busch had a pit lane speeding penalty which he had to come back through the field to the front.

4th Place Car 4 Kevin Harvick Jimmy John’s Ford, started from pole followed by 5th place Car 1 Kurt Busch Star Nursery Chevrolet, started from 28th place. 6th Place Car 17 Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Fastenal Ford, started from 8th place followed by 7th place Car 10 Aric Almirola Smithfield Ford, started from 25th place. 8th Place Car 19 Martin Truex Jr. Bass Pro Shops Toyota, started from 23rd place followed by 9th place Car 9 Chase Elliott Hooters Chevrolet, started from 12th place. Lastly in the Top 10 was Car 11 Denny Hamlin FedEx Office Toyota, in 10th place, started from 2nd place. Daniel Hemric (23rd) was the highest finishing rookie. Joey Logano leads the point standings by 2 points over Kevin Harvick.
