Starting from the back Car 17 Trevor Emond won the 200 Lap Super Late Model Special at Edmonton International Raceway (EIR). 2nd Place Car 09 Clint Habart. 3rd Place Car 49 Brian Levant. This was an exciting race with lots of action for the fans on a cool night.

Interview with Super Late Model Car 17 Trevor Emond
Velocity: Well Trevor that was one hell of a race! At the driver introductions you said at the last race here you started at the front & it did end so good, this time you started tail & won the race.
Trevor Emond: we had some strategy to run from the back, the car was not all that great the 1st half, we made some changes at the half. We could have made some more changes, it was still a little free.
Velocity: It was a great race for the fans to watch, the re-starts must have been intense.
Trevor Emond: You cannot make any mistakes & I was not giving up the bottom to go, he tried.
Velocity: you do not want to give up the bottom at EIR.
Trevor Emond: Your car has to be set for both; we did pass lot cars up Top.
Velocity: So next time maybe try to qualify last & you will win the race with your strategy.
Trevor Emond: Well our transponder was not working in qualifying.
Velocity: So you are a local racer.
Trevor Emond: Out of Leduc, we have turned a lot of laps here back in the day.
Velocity: Congratulations on the win.

Car 15 Matt Tweedy won the NASCAR Feature Stock Feature race at EIR. 2nd Place Car 2 Austin Ogonoski. 3rd Place Car 81 Justin Horton. The Mayhem Madness class was back at it at EIR which; is one of the most affordable classes in oval racing.
