HIT TO PASS & NASCAR Pure Stocks were a Blast!

HIT TO PASS
This was my 1st HIT TO PASS event, Saturday September 26 2020 at Edmonton International Raceway. I was wondering what kind of cars were built for the race & then I saw the cars were Demolition Derby Cars. I found out it wasn’t just about hit the other cars when you pass other cars, they had a whole points system & judges to add the points. The difference between a Demolition Derby & the HIT TO PASS is when your cars dies in a Demolition Derby you are done, in HIT TO PASS they can pull into the pits as their crew go to work. At one-time it was just like a mob of crews would go car to car, fix them & send them back out. I do have to mention father & son team 53 & 57 made it to the end & car 57 smoked most of the time. It was a fun night of carnage & was a great way to end the 2020 season.

Car 8 Stuart Sakaluk won the NASCAR Pure Stocks Fun Event Feature Race. Best Lap Best Speed By Competitor (00:15.903)56.593 km/hStuart Sakaluk. 2nd Place Car 95 Alex Clark followed by 3rd place Car 22 Otto Stensrud.
