Dinosaur Downs Speedway Statement:
DINOSAUR DOWNS SPEEDWAY DRUMHELLER, ALBERTA.SEASON OPENER MAY 12-13, 2018
The season started on a high note for Dinosaur Downs Speedway with a record car count, five car classes, an enthusiastic crowd and perfect weather. A number of rookie drivers brought excitement and promise to the weekend.

IMCA MODIFIEDS
The IMCA Modifieds, celebrating their 30 anniversary, started the weekend with 22 cars from across Alberta and Saskatchewan.
The racers included 2017 Series Champion Garth Dushanek (#56) of Red Deer and Dinosaur Downs 2017 Track Champion Brian Roode (#68) of Brooks.

Returning Dinosaur Downs Speedway Track Champion Tim Comeau (50) of High River, Alberta returned to defend his title. We welcomed new cars (some rookies) to the lineup.

Get involved in motorsports: volunteer!
Volunteers are the people that make events happen from the organizers of the event to the person taking your ticket; it takes a lot of people to make an event work.
We welcome back our volunteers and invite anyone who would like to join us to message our Facebook page, or show up at the gate, we have a job for you, no experience required. We couldn’t run the events that we do without these very important people. Join us, we are always trying new things and bringing back your favourite racers, “It’s About The Memories”.
