Denny Hamlin won an emotional victory in the 61st Annual Daytona 500 for Joe Gibbs Racing

J.D. Gibbs, eldest son of Joe Gibbs & co-founder of Joe Gibbs Racing, passed away January 12/2019 due to complications with a degenerative neurological disease. A decal for the J.D. Gibbs Legacy Fund established in honor of JGR co-founder jdgibbslegacy.com was on the car. Joe Gibbs Racing Finished in 1st 2nd & 3rd place in the 61st Annual Daytona 500. Starting from 10th place Car 11 Denny Hamlin FedEx Express Toyota won the 61st Annual Daytona 500, his 32nd win in 471 Monster Energy Cup Series races. This is his 1st win & 1st Top 10 finish in 2019.
