Dale Earnhardt Jr. was able to steel the win away from Chase contender Hendrick Motorsports team mate Car 24 Jeff Gordon Drive To End Hunger Chevrolet. It was an emotional win for Hendrick Motorsports as memories of the tragic Hendrick Motorsports plane crash from 10 years ago that claimed 10 lives, including Rick Hendrick’s son Ricky. The win gave Earnhardt his 1st grandfather clock trophy from Martinsville.
