Car 19 Cody Lang won the Super Late Model the Rip Shot 200 Race 1. 2nd Place Car 11 Bill Royce followed by 3rd place Car 36 Grant Brown.
The weather was a concern so it was decided after the Opening Ceremonies the 1st race would be the Super Late Model Rip Shot 200 Race 1. After that it was planned to run the Baby Grands & Evolution Cupcar (Mini Cups). The weather did not go as planned, after Super Late Model the Rip Shot 200 Race 1. The clouds opened-up with a down pour, causing an end of racing for the night.
The event started with First Responders Opening Ceremonies Tribute to Wetaskiwin Fire Fighter James Gilbert.
