Brad Keselowski Miller Lite Ford wins his 4th NASCAR Sprint Cup race of 2014 at Richmond

Starting from pole Car 2 Brad Keselowski Miller Lite Ford won the 57th Annual Federated Auto Parts 400, his 14th victory in 187 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. Keselowski was dominate as he led 383 laps, the most laps led in a scheduled 400-lap Richmond race. This is his 4th win & 13th Top10 finish in 2014. This is also his 1st win & 4th Top 10 finish in 11 races at Richmond International Raceway. Brad Keselowski is now Top seated in the Chase with this win. After winning the Verizon IndyCar Championship Roger Penske could win both primary American racing series Championships IndyCar & Nascar.

2nd place Car 24 Jeff Gordon Drive To End Hunger Chevrolet started from 2nd place posted his 28th Top 10 finish in 44 races at Richmond International Raceway & is his 17th Top 10 finish in 2014. 3rd place Car 15 Clint Bowyer 5-hour Energy Toyota started from 6th place posted his 10th Top 10 finish in 18 races at Richmond International Raceway.

4th Place Car 1 Jamie McMurray Cessna Chevrolet started from 15th place followed by 5th place Car 4 Kevin Harvick Budweiser Chevrolet started from 4th place. 6th Place Car 22 Joey Logano Shell Pennzoil Ford started from 5th place followed by 7th place Car 41 Kurt Busch Haas Automation Chevrolet started from 9th place. 8th Place Car 48 Jimmie Johnson Lowe’s Chevrolet started from 3rd place followed by 9th place Car 31 Ryan Newman Caterpillar Chevrolet started from 12th place. Lastly in the Top 10 was Car 43 Aric Almirola Gwaltney Ford in 10th place started from 26th place.

The surprising there was only 4 Caution Flags for 27 laps 1 was for Security & none were for contact. 1st Caution on lap 52 for Competition, 2nd Caution on lap 125 for Debris on backstretch, 3rd Caution on lap 263 for Debris in turn 2, Caution on lap 331 for Security because a shirtless fan climbed the fence & was hanging over the track. Nascar should be commended for their actions on safety, instead of letting that person prove Darwin’s Theory.

The race only had 4 Lead Changes among 2 drivers B. Keselowski 1-42; K. Harvick 43-52; B. Keselowski 53-119; K. Harvick 120-126; B. Keselowski 127-400.

Car 2 Brad Keselowski Miller Lite Ford was dominant for the weekend winning the Coors Light Pole Award, led 383 out of 400 laps & won the Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond. This win gave Team Owner Roger Penske 400th win across all racing series.

Car 24 Jeff Gordon Drive To End Hunger Chevrolet put the pressure on Brad Keselowski in the last laps with a Margin of Victory of only 0.797 Seconds for Keselowski.
