Art Eilander won the NASCAR Super Truck 100 Feature race at Edmonton International Raceway

NASCAR Super Truck (Western R.V. Canadian SuperTruck Racing Series)
Truck 18 Art Eilander won his 2nd NASCAR Super Truck Feature race in a row at EIR. Eilander also won his 2nd Western R.V. Canadian SuperTruck Racing Series Feature race in a row. 2nd Place Truck 67 Kyle O’Connell followed by 3rd place Truck 14 Ron Larsson. Best Lap Best Speed By Competitor (00:13.587)66.24 mi/h Kerry Kovacs. This was an exciting race for the lead and with a Red Flag for Truck 5 Calvin Deal who had a hard double hit into the wall. The EIR Rescue Team did a great job responding to the crash, in about 25- 30 seconds. The only way you can get that kind of response in the city, is if you hit a fire Station. Also have to mention 6th place Truck 15 Dave Mcintosh who had contact & was in the pits twice but the crew had the Truck out to finish the race.

It was worth the drive to Wetaskiwin to see some great racing. It started off with what I thought was smokey but it was over-cast. So they had practice, qualifying & Birthday rides. Just before Racing was about to start the rain came out. After that they dried the track they had the STEEL HORSE RIDE FUNDRAISER – BOS MOTORSPORTS – MOTORCYCLE RIDE followed by racing.
