Car 15 Matt Tweedy won the Feature Stock/Mini Stock Invitational Feature Race at Edmonton International Raceway (EIR). Matt Tweedy won the race with a margin of victory of 2.183 seconds. 2nd Place Car 38 Cameron Grover had a close fight with 0.013 of a second over 3rd place Car 29 Mike Ramm.

We are busy getting ready for our 2017 Race Season and there is always lots to do. After winterizing the track and putting things away we have already started on our 2017 Schedule with some new ideas in the works!

Saturday, November 5 at the Reynolds Alberta Museum in Wetaskiwin. No tuxedos this year but given our venue we are adding a dress theme to this occasion – so dress from 1920’s to 1950’s! Tickets are on sale now through our website, just click on Buy Tickets Now and you will see the Banquet Ticket Option. We are awarding trophies to top 8 in the NASCAR Super Stocks, Top 10 in the NASCAR Thunder Cars & Feature Stocks, Stackers 1-3, IMCA 1-3, NASCAR Super Trucks 1-3, NASCAR Modifieds 1-3, Baby Grands 1-3 and Mini Cups 1-10, plus Rookie Awards and much more! You must attend in order to receive your trophy!
Storage at EIR
You can store your car at Edmonton Int’l Raceway from October 3, 2016 to May 10, 2017 for $125 (plus gst). This includes ALL Cars, trucks, trailers and un-driveable or un-raceable cars left on EIR property after October 3, 2016. This must be paid in advance of storage. $125 works out to less than $18 a month.
You must still register your race car with EIR by January 31, 2017 and once race season starts in May you must be racing your car consistently (if you store it at the track), at least twice per month or we will reserve the right to sell your car.
